About Zamchick
Zamchick is Zambeef's chicken business, running its broiler houses, chicken abattoir and processing plant and selling into both formal and informal markets, with some product exported and brined special cuts supplied to hotels, restaurants and caterers. Zambeef entered a joint venture on Zamchick and its hatchery Zamhatch with Rainbow Chickens in 2013 and took full ownership in 2016, when a put option was settled with RCL Foods.
