Authentic Brands acquires Reebok (2022)
Authentic Brands completed the acquisition of Reebok on 8 March 2022 for €2.1 billion, buying from Adidas.[1]
Adidas sold Reebok to Authentic Brands Group for up to about €2.1 billion, having paid €3.1 billion for it in 2006. Adidas had been unable to grow the brand in fifteen years of ownership and wrote down its value repeatedly.
