Campari Group acquires Appleton Estate (2012)
Campari Group completed the acquisition of Appleton Estate on 21 December 2012 for $415 million.[1]
Campari acquired Lascelles deMercado for about $415 million, taking Appleton Estate and with it one of the oldest continuously operating rum distilleries in the Caribbean, producing in Jamaica's Nassau Valley since 1749.
