Church & Dwight acquires vitafusion (2012)
Church & Dwight completed the acquisition of vitafusion on 1 October 2012 for $650 million.[1]
Church & Dwight acquired Avid Health, owner of the vitafusion and L'il Critters gummy vitamin brands, for about $650 million. Gummy vitamins were then growing far faster than tablets, and the purchase gave the company a position in supplements it had not had.
