Colombini Group acquires Bontempi Casa and Ingenia Casa (2021)

Colombini Group completed the acquisition of Bontempi Casa and Ingenia Casa on 2 August 2021.^[1]

Colombini Group acquired 60 per cent of the Bontempi Casa Group of Camerano, in the province of Ancona, and with it the Bontempi Casa and Ingenia brands, extending a San Marino kitchen and bedroom manufacturer into tables, chairs and furnishing accessories at the medium and luxury end. Bontempi had turned over about 35 million euros in 2019 and grew about 25 per cent in the first half of 2021 against that year. Colombini financed the purchase itself, partly on a credit line taken out for it, and described the deal as a first step towards a national hub of the Italian furniture industry.

The 60 per cent figure is the stake stated in the announcement; no later statement of a change was found on the company's own pages, so it is recorded unchanged. The company published the release on 2 August 2021 under a headline saying the acquisition was complete, which is the date recorded here.
