Bontempi Casa makes tables, chairs, sofas, armchairs, sideboards, bookcases, bar furniture, consoles, lamps, mirrors and coat racks — furnishing accessories for any room rather than fitted systems for one. Colombini Group bought 60 per cent of the Bontempi Casa Group in August 2021, a company that had turned over about 35 million euros in 2019, to reach the medium and luxury ranges of the accessories market.
Colombini Group acquired 60 per cent of the Bontempi Casa Group of Camerano, in the province of Ancona, and with it the Bontempi Casa and Ingenia brands, extending a San Marino kitchen and bedroom manufacturer into tables, chairs and furnishing accessories at the medium and luxury end. Bontempi had turned over about 35 million euros in 2019 and grew about 25 per cent in the first half of 2021 against that year. Colombini financed the purchase itself, partly on a credit line taken out for it, and described the deal as a first step towards a national hub of the Italian furniture industry.
