Ingenia Casa is the second brand of the Bontempi group at Camerano, and came to Colombini Group with the same 60 per cent purchase in August 2021 that brought Bontempi Casa. Colombini describes the pair together as a historic company and an outstanding voice on the international design scene, covering both the medium and the luxury range of furniture and accessories for living and sleeping areas.
Colombini Group acquired 60 per cent of the Bontempi Casa Group of Camerano, in the province of Ancona, and with it the Bontempi Casa and Ingenia brands, extending a San Marino kitchen and bedroom manufacturer into tables, chairs and furnishing accessories at the medium and luxury end. Bontempi had turned over about 35 million euros in 2019 and grew about 25 per cent in the first half of 2021 against that year. Colombini financed the purchase itself, partly on a credit line taken out for it, and described the deal as a first step towards a national hub of the Italian furniture industry.
