Heineken acquires Sol and Dos Equis (2010)

Heineken completed the acquisition of Sol and Dos Equis on 30 April 2010 for $7.6 billion.[1]

Heineken acquired the beer operations of Mexico's FEMSA for about $7.6 billion in shares, taking Sol and Dos Equis. It gave Heineken a major position in Mexico and the United States Hispanic market without paying cash.
