VF Corporation completed the acquisition of Dickies on 2 October 2017 for $820 million.[1]
VF Corporation acquired Williamson-Dickie for about $820 million, buying the workwear brand founded in Texas in 1922. Dickies had become streetwear well beyond the trades it was made for, a shift the company had not engineered.
