About Calán

Calán is a Chilean yogurt brand that came to Watt's in 2017, when it bought Danone Chile, renamed it Diwatts S.A. and took over its plant in Chillán; Diwatts was merged into Watt's S.A. in 2023. With the same purchase Watt's signed a licence to use the Danone, Activia and Oikos names in Chile, for which it pays, but Calán came with the company itself. A 2025 Calán campaign promoted yogurt as a school snack for children.
