About Djarum 76
Djarum 76 is a hand-rolled, unfiltered kretek made almost entirely from tobacco grown around Temanggung in the Javan highlands. Djarum's product page says it was introduced in 1976 and gained a following in Java, Bali, Kalimantan and Sumatra, and that a 16-stick pack appeared in 2008. Variants include Djarum 76 Filter Gold and fruit-flavoured editions.
