Cal-Maine is a member of the Eggland's Best, Inc. co-operative and produces, markets, distributes and sells Egg-Land's Best eggs under a licence from it, at its own facilities and to the co-operative's guidelines. The hens are fed a proprietary diet and the range covers nutritionally enhanced, cage-free, organic, pasture-raised and free-range eggs. Cal-Maine accounted for about 56 per cent of Egg-Land's Best branded eggs sold nationwide in 2025, when six of the ten best-selling branded specialty shell egg lines in the United States carried the brand.
