About HK
HK is the main consumer brand of the Finnish company HKFoods, covering cold cuts, sausages, pork and ready meals; HK Kabanossi, introduced in 1976, became a household sausage in Finland. HK was the brand of Helsingin Kauppiaat, which LSO bought along with its Vantaa meat plant in 1991, when Finland's cooperative slaughterhouses dissolved their central firm. HKFoods has committed the brand to using only Finnish meat, and HK is a main partner of the Finnish Olympic Committee.
