About Härkis
Härkis is a Finnish fava bean protein brand that Valio bought from Raisio plc in early 2025, together with the Beanit brand, the plant protein business and the Kauhava production plant. Valio says the deal made it the market leader in plant-based protein products. Production at Kauhava ended in late 2025 and moved to Valio's Joensuu plant in early 2026.
