Valio is a Finnish dairy and food company owned by around 3,000 dairy farms through cooperatives, to which it pays its profits through the milk price, dividends and interest. It marked its 120th anniversary in 2025, when it took in 1,635 million litres of Finnish milk and grew net sales 6.3 per cent to 2,422.7 million euros. It also runs the Valio Aimo food service wholesale business and exports specialty milk powders.
