About Kariniemen
Kariniemen is HKFoods' poultry brand in Finland. Its products are made only from Finnish chicken, grown on the company's contract farms in Satakunta and south-west Finland and slaughtered at the Rauma unit, which opened at the end of 2017. The name comes from Kariniemi, the Eura poultry business that LSO's Broilertalo bought from Cultor in March 1993; Broilertalo later used the brand for all its products. Kariniemi's honey-marinated chicken, launched in 1992, became a best-seller.
