About Honda
Honda is the name on almost everything the company makes. It began mass-producing motorcycles under it in 1949 with the Dream D-Type, added general-purpose engines in 1953 and cars in 1963 with the T360 mini truck and the S500 sports car, and by 1957 was the largest Japanese motorcycle producer by volume. The car range runs from the N-BOX mini vehicle to the CIVIC, ACCORD, CR-V and PILOT, and in 1982 Honda became the first Japanese carmaker to build cars in the United States, starting with the ACCORD. Its own filing puts it plainly: most of Honda's products are distributed under the Honda trademarks.
