About Ipoteka Bank
Ipoteka Bank is the Uzbek bank that joined the OTP group in June 2023. OTP spent the second half of 2023 cleaning out its loan portfolio, then focused on transforming the bank and taking deposits. Its retail lending turned around in mid-2025, and that year it earned almost HUF 50 billion after tax, a return on equity of more than 22%. It had 39 branches and 811 cash machines at the end of 2025.
