Nalgesin is Krka's naproxen brand and its second-largest non-prescription product. The company says naproxen has gained ground in Europe for its fast onset and long-lasting effect, and that Nalgesin was in 2025 the leading single-ingredient naproxen medicine and among the ten leading non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in Europe. It is sold over the counter as Nalgesin S and on prescription as Nalgesin Forte, and the same naproxen is marketed elsewhere as Analgesin, Ilgesin, Naldorex and Nalgedol.
