Netsusama Sheet is a cooling gel sheet for the forehead that Kobayashi Pharmaceutical launched in 1994, inspired by the chill of konjac. Its cooling time was extended to eight hours in 2001. Overseas sales began in Hong Kong in 1996 and it is sold as KOOLFEVER in Southeast Asia and BeKOOOL in the United States, where Kobayashi started its marketing with the product; overseas now accounts for about half its sales.
