About NTV
NTV is the Kenyan television channel of Nation Media Group, launched in 1999 with the radio station Easy FM, the group's first move into broadcasting. On 25 June 2025 the Communications Authority of Kenya switched off its signal during coverage of protests, which NMG called unconstitutional; the station is still on the group's 2025 brand list. NMG's broadcasting revenue rose 5% in 2025, and its show Fixing the Nation reached more than nine million viewers a quarter.
