About NTV Uganda
NTV Uganda is a television station in Uganda launched in December 2006 by Nation Media Group through Africa Broadcasting Uganda Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary. A month after it went on air, the government took it off the air, saying it had not met licensing standards, and it was not allowed to resume broadcasting until April 2007. NMG reports it with Monitor Publications as its Uganda business, which it calls NMG Uganda.
