About Pantinol Plus
Pantinol Plus is a wound cream containing 50 mg of dexpanthenol and 5 mg of chlorhexidine hydrochloride per gram, for minor injuries at risk of infection: scrapes, cuts, scratches, cracks and burns, along with intertrigo, nappy rash and the cracked nipples of nursing mothers, where it is applied after each feed and washed off before the next. Chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure sores and surgical wounds are prescription-only uses.
