About Atrauman

Atrauman is HARTMANN's non-adhering wound contact layer, used on chronic wounds and sold in an antimicrobial silver-bearing version as Atrauman Ag. In August 2025 Atrauman Ag became the first HARTMANN product approved in the highest European risk class III under the extended requirements of the EU Medical Device Regulation, certified by TÜV SÜD and listed with the United States Food and Drug Administration — the first product in the group to clear both regimes, in a class from which competitors have withdrawn products rather than meet it.
