Americana Restaurants opened its first Pizza Hut in the United Arab Emirates in 1979 and now runs 458 of them across Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Iraq. In 2022 Yum! selected it to relaunch the brand in Saudi Arabia outside Jeddah, and in 2025 it acquired the Pizza Hut business in Oman. The name belongs to Yum!
