About Quorn
Quorn is made from mycoprotein, a fermented fungi-based protein produced at Belasis in Billingham by Marlow Foods, which trades as Quorn Foods and is wholly owned by the Philippine noodle and biscuit maker Monde Nissin. It was the leading UK meat alternative brand in 2025 with 27.8 per cent of grocery sales by value, and the UK accounts for almost four-fifths of the business's sales. Monde Nissin bought Marlow Foods from Exponent Private Equity in 2015.
