About Westland
Westland Milk Products was the second-largest dairy cooperative in New Zealand, based on the west coast of New Zealand, with products sold in more than 40 countries. Its farmer shareholders voted 93.79 per cent in favour of Yili's offer, and Yili completed the purchase of 100 per cent of the company on 1 August 2019 through a wholly-owned Hong Kong subsidiary.
