Classic Legends is the Mahindra subsidiary that exists to bring dormant motorcycle marques back to market. Mahindra & Mahindra bought a controlling stake in it in 2016 and it holds three names — Jawa, Yezdi and BSA — under two quite different arrangements: it bought BSA Company outright with all of its global brand rights, and it licenses Jawa for India and selected Asian markets. Mahindra held 58.37 per cent of it at 31 March 2026.
