About Yezdi
Yezdi is the Indian motorcycle marque of Ideal Jawa of Mysore, the licensee that built Jawa machines in India from the early 1960s until production stopped in 1996. Classic Legends brought the name back in the 2021-22 financial year, and Mahindra's 2025-26 annual report says the range grew three and a half times over that year on the Yezdi Adventure Dual Headlamp and a new Yezdi Roadster, helped by a cut in Indian goods and services tax on motorcycles from 28 to 18 per cent.
