Smartfit Escola de Ginástica e Dança is the São Paulo company behind the Smart Fit chain of low-price gyms and the premium Bio Ritmo clubs. It was founded in 1996, when the first Bio Ritmo gym opened, and its shares have traded on B3 as SMFT3 since 14 July 2021. At the end of 2025 it had 2,084 gyms in 16 countries, 1,683 of them company-owned and 401 franchised, and 5.2 million gym members, and its 2025 net revenue was R$7.2 billion. It also runs the TotalPass corporate fitness benefit, a group of studio brands including Velocity, and the Queima Diária online workout service. By 30 June 2026 the network had grown to 2,170 gyms.
