St Lucia Distillers is the only rum distillery on Saint Lucia, working in the Roseau valley on the island's west coast. It was formed in 1972 when the last two distilleries left on the island, the Barnard family's at Dennery and the Geest-owned one at Roseau Bay, amalgamated. The Barnard family bought out the Geest shares, sold a stake to Trinidad's Angostura in 1997 and sold the company to CLICO in 2005; Groupe Bernard Hayot has held it since 2016 and sells its rums internationally through Spiribam. It calls itself a small, innovative, quality-driven producer and offers more than 25 rums and rum products.
