About Chairman's Reserve
Chairman's Reserve was first blended in 1999 under Laurie Barnard, the third-generation rum maker who was then chairman of St Lucia Distillers, from a marriage of continuous-still and pot-still rums laid down to age. It became the distillery's export face and now runs across White, Original Gold, Legacy, Forgotten Casks, 1931 and Spiced expressions. The 1931 in that range is an expression name, not the year anything was founded.
