Aohata is the jam and fruit brand of Aohata Corporation, founded in 1932 as Kidoen Corporation, the same year Kewpie's predecessor Shokuhin Kogyo was making Aohata Marmalade. Its Aohata 55 series has passed its 55th anniversary, marked with seasonal strawberry blends. Aohata was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange until November 2025, when a share exchange made it a wholly owned subsidiary of Kewpie.
