About Biretix

Biretix is the Cantabria Labs brand for acne-prone skin in young people and adults, built around retinoids. The company links it to its exclusive RetinSphere technology, which combines two types of retinoid, and describes the products as having results shown in clinical trials. The range includes the Tri-Active control gel and a Tri-Active spray for the body, aimed at pimples and acne marks.

About the owner: Cantabria Labs

Cantabria Labs is a privately held company headquartered in Madrid, Spain. Brandtree records 7 brands under its control.

Cantabria Labs is a Spanish dermatological laboratory with an office in Madrid and laboratories in Santander and Madrid. By its own account it began as a small family-run laboratory based in Cantabria, and in 1994 it acquired 100% of Industrial Farmacéutica Cantabria; it later adopted the Cantabria Labs name. It makes medicines, cosmetics and food supplements, and sells its skin-care ranges under brand names of their own such as Heliocare, Endocare and Biretix. It also runs joint ventures with Rafa Nadal (NDL Pro-Health) and Sofía Vergara (Toty) and holds a stake in the veterinary company Stangest; none of those is listed here. The Inmunoferon food supplement is also left out because it is not a personal-care product.
