About Doggy
Doggy is a Swedish dog food brand made in Vårgårda, which PPF's own history says it acquired in 2020 as a leading Swedish manufacturer with a history back to 1903. The group's Nordic site says the first dog food, called Dog Meal, was introduced in 1903 and that the company is Sweden's oldest and largest pet food maker. In 2026 the brand was marketing Doggy Professional Valp, a puppy dry food, and natural dog treats.

About the owner: Partner in Pet Food
Partner in Pet Food is a privately held company headquartered in Budapest, Hungary, founded in 2007. Brandtree records 5 brands under its control.
Partner in Pet Food (PPF) is a Budapest pet food producer that grew from independent Central European makers bought by Provimi Pet Food, which formed a separate division in 2007; a private equity buyer later renamed it. Cinven acquired it in 2018, and its 2025 sustainability report says CVC Capital Partners took a majority in 2024 with Cinven staying as a minority holder. It has 12 factories in ten countries and about 3,000 staff, and calls itself a private-label producer, so much of what it makes carries retailers' names. Shelma, Prevital, Reno, Dax and Polaris appear on its brand page but are omitted here because the company states no origin for them.
