About Elio
Elio is the edible oil Cevital Agro-Industrie launched in 1998, the company's first product and the one it was built around. The soybean oil sold under the name is marketed as cholesterol-free and as an all-purpose kitchen oil, for dressing salads, making mayonnaise at home and frying, in one-, two- and five-litre bottles. The name is also carried by a harissa sauce, the chilli paste that is a fixture of North African cooking.
