About Gardena
Gardena is a German garden brand best known for watering: hoses, click-on connectors, sprinklers, pumps and irrigation controls, alongside hand tools, battery products and robotic mowers. Husqvarna signed the final agreement to buy Gardena AG in March 2007 at a price of 730 million euros on a debt-free basis. It now gives its name to one of the group's three divisions, which accounts for about a quarter of net sales, and the group describes it as Europe's leading residential gardening brand.

About the owner: Husqvarna Group
Husqvarna Group is a publicly listed company headquartered in Jönköping, Sweden, founded in 1689. Brandtree records 4 brands under its control, and it is listed as STO: HUSQ B and STO: HUSQ A.
Husqvarna Group makes outdoor power products, watering systems and light construction equipment, and traces itself to a rifle factory set up in 1689 at the waterfall in Huskvarna in southern Sweden. Electrolux bought the company in 1978 and it became independent again with a Stockholm listing in 2006. It reports three divisions, Husqvarna Forest & Garden, Gardena and Husqvarna Construction, and says it operates mainly under the Husqvarna and Gardena brands.
