About GMC

GMC sells trucks and SUVs that are largely the same vehicles as Chevrolet's, positioned slightly upmarket and sold through separate dealers. Running two near-identical truck brands is a survival of the dealer structure GM built a century ago. Its Denali trim, introduced in 1999, now accounts for a large share of the brand's sales and carries prices that overlap with Cadillac.
