About GoRide
GoRide is the motorcycle-taxi service inside the Gojek app, carrying passengers pillion through Indonesian traffic that cars cannot easily clear. GoTo markets it on faster trips and affordable fares, and sells it together with commuter rail tickets through GoTransit, so a single transaction can cover both a train journey and the ride to the station.

About the owner: GoTo
GoTo is a publicly listed company headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia, founded in 2015. Brandtree records 9 brands under its control, and it is listed as IDX: GOTO.
GoTo calls itself Indonesia's largest digital ecosystem, bringing together consumers, merchants and driver-partners across mobility, food delivery, groceries, payments and financial services. The holding company dates to a deed of 11 December 2015 as PT Aplikasi Karya Anak Bangsa, the company behind Gojek, and took the name PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia with effect from 10 November 2021 after its business combination with PT Tokopedia; it listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on 11 April 2022. Its name still carries Tokopedia, but its holding in the e-commerce business was diluted to 24.99 per cent on 31 January 2024 and deconsolidated the following day, leaving TikTok with 75.01 per cent, so the group now reports only two platforms of its own: Gojek and GoTo Financial.
🇮🇩 GoRide and other Indonesian brands
Brandtree records a controlling owner for 161 brands that began in Indonesia. 7 of them (4%) are now controlled by a company headquartered in another country; GoRide is not one of them.
