About Herz
Herz is one of the best known Hungarian meat brands, and it came to Bonafarm in 2010 when the Hungarian competition authority cleared the group's purchase of the assets of the Herz salami factory. It is now made and sold by Pick Szeged, which runs it as a separate brand with its own range of hams, winter salami and thick sausages, and has reformulated the hams around reduced sodium using sea salt.
