About PICK
PICK is the Hungarian salami brand founded in Szeged in 1869, when the produce trader Márk Pick registered his business in the free royal city's industrial register. Its winter salami, made to a recipe he developed on Italian lines, is aged at least eighty days over beech smoke until a noble white mould forms on the casing, and it is recognised as a Hungaricum. The factory moved to the Tisza bank in 1900 for the cool river air; the company merged with its owner Délhús in 2006 and joined the newly formed Bonafarm Group in 2009.
