About Issyk-Ata
Issyk-Ata is Shoro's mineral water brand, sourced from the Issyk-Ata reservation in the Kyrgyz Ala-Too Mountains near Bishkek, an area with around 130 mineral water sources. Shoro's own product page describes it as slightly mineralised, at 150-300 mg per litre, with silicic acid making up 17-20% of that mineralisation, and cites research by the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Balneology and Restorative Treatment on its use for digestive, liver and metabolic conditions. The bottle was redesigned in June 2016.
