About Jura
Jura is a single malt Scotch whisky, and according to its owner the only single malt on The Grocer magazine's 2025 list of Britain's biggest alcohol brands. It came to Emperador with the Whyte and Mackay group in October 2014, with the trademark valued at 4.5 billion pesos. The Jura distillery has replaced a boiler that burned heavy fuel oil and diesel with a biomass one, and draws power from hydroelectric and solar generation.
