About Kagome Tomato Ketchup
Kagome Tomato Ketchup is the ketchup brand of the Japanese tomato processor, whose history records that it began making tomato ketchup and Worcester sauce in 1908, two years after opening a factory for tomato sauce in what is now Tokai, Aichi. Kagome put 100 gram ketchup in aluminium tubes in 1958 and in 1966 launched what it describes as the world's first ketchup in a plastic tube.
