About La Favorita
La Favorita is the vegetable cooking oil that made La Fabril the largest edible oils business in Ecuador. The factory and the brands behind it belonged to Unilever until 2002, when La Fabril bought the whole operation, and the oil still carries the Ecuadorian standards body's INEN quality seal against the national cooking oil standard. A lighter Favorita Vida line is sold alongside it.
