About Mavi
Mavi is a Turkish jeans and casual clothing brand begun in Istanbul in 1991 by the company that still owns it. Its owner says it is the top-of-mind jeans brand in Türkiye, with 65 per cent brand awareness and more than 20 per cent of the denim market, although denim was only 37 per cent of its 2025 sales. Its All Blue range, defined by sustainability criteria, reached 30 per cent of revenue. Mavi USA was founded in New York in 1996, and the brand is sold in the United States by Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's.
