About Koton
Koton started as a 25 square metre shop in Kuzguncuk, Istanbul, in 1988. It added wholesale in 1992, opened its first shops in the Middle East, Russia and the Balkans in 2002, and turned to large-format retail. By 2025 it had 464 stores in 35 countries, sold online in about 70, and added nearly 200 new products a week under a "trendy, affordable premium" positioning.
