About Nobo
Nobo was the pasta brand Sayga launched in 2005 when it opened its pasta plant, as part of a deliberate move beyond flour. It is made from 100 per cent semolina using Australian and Canadian wheat on four Bühler lines, in vermicelli, elbow, penne, fusilli, shell and suksukaniya shapes, and DAL says it cooks in half the time of other brands available in Sudan. Pasta has since reached more than 80 per cent of Sudanese households.
