About Persona
Persona combines dungeon crawling with a school life simulation, and its fifth instalment brought a Japanese role-playing series that had been niche outside Japan to a large Western audience. Sega acquired its studio Atlus in 2013. Atlus also makes the Shin Megami Tensei series from which Persona originally span off, and both remain among Sega's most valuable Japanese properties.
