About Sandro

Sandro was founded in 1984 in the Marais district of Paris by Évelyne Chetrite, who is still its artistic director. It began as a womenswear label sold through multi-brand shops, opened its own Paris store in the early 2000s, and added a menswear line, Sandro Homme, in 2007 under her son Ilan Chetrite. SMCP says Sandro made 50 per cent of group revenue in 2025 and is known for suits and coats as well as ready-to-wear, bags and shoes.
